Remember, when it comes to drinking alcohol on the ketogenic diet, moderation is important. A recent study shows that drinking a dry red wine while on the keto diet can have other health benefits in addition to being in ketosis.
If you are going to be drinking keto friendly alcohol while on a ketogenic diet, supplementing an exogenous ketone can help to make sure your body stays in ketosis. We recommend taking a product with Pure Therapeutic Ketones.

I was wondering if alcohol based herbal extracts I’m taking for kidneys would be alright.
General rule is that any beverage is keto-friendly as long as it does not contain too much sugar or carbs, which can throw the body out of ketosis.
