Ketogenic fat bombs are small snacks or treats that are high in fat and low in carbs (so, literally a fat bomb) that you can eat as a quick breakfast, as a quick mid-afternoon snack, as a pre- or after- workout snack, or as extra fuel during your day.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Packet of Keto//OS Max Heart Tart
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • *optional: roll in unsweetened coconut shreds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mash strawberries with vanilla extract.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or mixer and blend until smooth.
  3. Shape mixture into balls or press into heart shaped molds and freeze. (Roll in unsweetened coconut shreds if desired).
  4. Freeze for 20-30 mins

Are you sure you meant a tablespoon of vanilla extract!?! Usually recipes require a teaspoon or less, especially small batch recipes like this. I kind of questioned it but went ahead and followed your recipe and it was bad…tasted like straight up alcohol bad. Did you maybe use an alcohol free vanilla extract or something because I used regular old pure vanilla extract and it was way too much, I had to add the other half of the block of cream cheese and 4 tablespoons of coconut oil with some powdered swerve to even out the flavor, and it’s still not great.?

Hi Amy, sorry to hear it didn’t turn out! This is a repost of a recipe we tried a while back ago. We also noticed the vanilla was strong, but we added a lot of coconut flakes so that seemed to have evened it out. Next time I think we will try only 1 tsp vanilla instead. Thanks for the feedback!
